John Ryan, CEO
John Ryan (BA/LLB) has advocated for evidence based improvements in policy and practice responses to drug use and related issues at Anex for the past 10 years, where he is currently the CEO. He has been a member of national and state government policy committees on public health and drug issues and a volunteer board member of drug and alcohol peak bodies. John has previously worked in research, government and the private sector.
Jeremy Cattell works with organisations in the areas of strategic planning, organisation structure, capability development and implementing change. Jeremy has held senior positions in Human Resource Management with Mobil Oil, Foster’s Group and Pacific Brands, specialising in employee relations and organisational development.
Professor Jon Currie
Professor Currie is a neurologist and an addiction medicine specialist, and is Director of Addiction Medicine and Translational Neurobiology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. Professor Currie has a longstanding interest in the neurobiology of addiction, the acute and chronic effects of alcohol and other drugs on brain function.
Dr Matthew Frei
Dr Frei is an addiction specialist who has worked in the alcohol and drug field for over a decade. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine, and is currently Clinical Director of Southern Health’s Alcohol and Drug Services and Clinical Head of Eastern Health Addiction Medicine Unit.
Kim Windsor has over 20 years’ experience working with industry in the areas of work design, workforce planning and development, and reward and recognition. She has worked at government and industry levels in training and development through to facilitation of change within both large and small workplaces.
